this website is mostly for my own personal enjoyment to help find a creative outlet for myself. i sorely miss the old web, and being able to build and customize my own site is very nostalgic. i have enjoyed viewing everyone else's neocities pages, and i see this being a good source of entertainment to help me kill time. i see this as a mix between a myspace profile and a place to dump all my thoughts. feel free to poke around, there may still be a few sections i need to fill in. click the follow button in the top right to follow my page!

About Me
i'm heath. i am in my mid 30's and have been using the internet for over 20 years now. i've always been a big fan of websites like neocities. some oldies that come to mind are vampirefreaks, darkstarlings, sitdiary, xanga, livejournal, and the original geocities.
as you all know, the internet has been slowly rotted away from the inside by capitalism, and i feel truly terrible for the entire generations of people who have never experienced anything other than ads, influencers, selfies, and massive tech conglomerates eating up your personal information for breakfast. the internet use to be such a different place. the wild wild west, you could say. a truly unique experience to immerse yourself in at the time.
neocities and other nostalic websites have given me a wonderful rush, and started me on a seemingly never-ending quest to take myself back to the days of nickelodeon cartoons and dial up internet.

there are so many book series i love, here are some of my favorite series that i end up re-reading over and over throughout the years:
animorphs, artemis fowl, balefire, bumped, circle of three, den of shadows, gone, goosebumps, fear street, harry potter, his dark materials, matched, mindwarp, pendragon, sweep, the house of night, the kiesha'ra, the last vampire, the secret circle, uglies, young wizards...
and there are so many stand alone books that i have read...maybe i'll sit down some day and try to make a list of some of my favorites.
